Academic life of the students

In Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev  introduced a two-level of educational system: 

• Bachelor degree
• Master degree.

The educational activities of the university are covering 79 fields with combination of different forms of education:

• Full time Bachelor degree –duration is four years:
• Full time Master degree- duration is two years;
• Extramural Master degree- duration is two and half years:
• Extramural-distance- duration is 5 years:

Lyceum. 

By order of the Ministry Of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of pedagogical education created and our university is the developer of the state standard of higher professional education in the direction of training “Bachelor” and “Master” of pedagogical education.

Students’ life

At the University created pleasent conditions for academic and professional growth of students. The infrastructure and living conditions meet modern requirements: a comfortable environment for study and recreation, a modern library, lecture halls, research laboratories, and sports grounds.

The whole territory of the university covered with a wireless Wi-Fi network.

In order to form a diverse university life, as well as the development of students in the social, intellectual, cultural, entertainment, scientific fields of activity, various events held. The university has a huge educational, scientific, spiritual and educational, innovative and industrial potential, which is aimed at training highly qualified specialists, developing fundamental and applied research with further integration into the global educational space.

About 15,000 students  study at the university, more than 600 graduate students, doctoral students, and undergraduates improve their qualifications.

Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev students do their internship in Russia, China, Germany, Iran, South Korea, Turkey, and Egypt. We cooperate with the largest international universities in the world on the implementation of joint international training programs like student exchanges and internships.

Particular attention  paid to the employment of graduates from budget, contract form of education. The example is the university does the systemic work with State and international organizations where they organize Job Fair for students.

Health and Sport

The university has a professional sports base: two sports halls, a mini-stadium, wrestling halls, a boxing hall, an martial arts hall, a tennis court, a mini-stadium ground, a shaping hall, a gym and summer stadiums.

 Teams of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev  are the winners of the Universide among the universities of the Kyrgyz Republic and are among the ten strongest university teams. Our students, being members of the national teams of Kyrgyzstan, successfully defend the honor of the republic at various international competitions.

Culture and Creativity

The main goal of the university is to train highly qualified, all-rounder specialties. The university pay great attention to improve condition of study process, logistic condition, free time, health of the students and accommodation.

             The university provides support in organizing youth participation in the Tamashow and KVN (Club of Fun and Smart) movements of Kyrgyzstan, where the A Serie team became the vice-champion of the Super League.

             Our students successfully took part in the competition "Spring of Bishkek", in the city festival of choral music and folk song "Singing voices of Kyrgyzstan". Free, charitable concerts of famous pop singers, as well as representatives of the classical and folk genre are organized; financial support provides in the organization of cultural events, student tourist trips to the sights of Kyrgyzstan.

The university organizes meeting with the famous creative personalities, government officials and public figures. There are sports sections, dance, music, literary and poetic clubs are organized.
