An international scientific and practical seminar "1916: historical memory" is being held at KSU named after I. Arabaev
Today, on September 17, an international scientific-practical seminar "1916: historical memory" is being held in the framework of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast" at the KSU named after I. Arabaev. At the same time, the said event was organized in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. At the seminar, a film prepared on the basis of a research expedition depicting the history of a village in 1916 was presented. The event was attended by the adviser to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz people's writer Arslan Koichiev, Rector of KSU named after I. Arabaev, professor Aigul Abdraeva, genealogist Almazbek Mukaev, veteran of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police colonel Myrzabek Ismailov, Bakyt Romanov, an representative of the "Manas" National Academy under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, associate professor of K. Karasaev BSU Rysgul Zhumalieva, participant of the "Urkun" commemoration procession Eshmanbet Avtandil, cartographer Talgat Zhumashev (Holland, on-line), Gulzada Abdalieva, associate professor of M.R. Rakhimova Institute, Venera Zhumalieva, assistant professor of M.R. Rakhimova Institute, participated. The seminar was organized by the Institute of Additional Professional Education named after M.R. Rakhimova of KSU named after I. Arabaev.
