Online seminar on “Features of Scientific Information Search Systems” held at KSU

An online seminar titled “Features of Scientific Information Search Systems” (Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, etc.) was held at KSU named after I. Arabaev. The seminar was conducted by Natalia Redkina head of the Open Science Research Department of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was attended by KSU’s Vice-Rector for Science, International Relations and Innovation Aigul Chaldanbaeva, as well as faculty members. Participants learned about the use of global databases in searching scientific information and conducting bibliometric and altmetric research. The event was organized by the Department of Science and Innovation, the Scientific Library and the Institute of Continuing Professional Education named after M.R. Rakhimova.
