KSU Department Head Zamira Zhaparova held a seminar on Parenting Children with Disabilities

Zamira Zhaparova Head of the Department of Special Pedagogy and Psychocorrection at the Pedagogy and Psychology Institute of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, held a seminar-training titled “Issues of Positive Parenting for Children with Disabilities: Methods and Strategies.” The event was attended by parents of children with disabilities from the Panfilov district of Chui region. The goal was to teach effective parenting methods and strategies. Participants learned about positive techniques, the roles of parents and teachers and how to create psychological and emotional support for the children. The event was organized by the Department of Special Pedagogy and Psychocorrection.
