International activities at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev are carried out  accordance with the Legislation and regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The university has the best partnership relations with the embassies of foreign  countries . Ambassadors of China, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Ukraine, Hungary, South Korea, Japan, etc., visited the university, as well as the heads and representatives of international organizations: UNDP, UNESCO, JIKA DAAD, TIKA, KOICA, AKDN also did visit.

For now, there are more than 90 contracts with foreign partners. These are treaties

with China, South Korea, Japan, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc.

In recent years, a number of major projects have been successfully implemented:

  2. Project "Building Bridges" on social pedagogy. (Norway).

  4. “Improving the capacity of methodologists of the education system of the Kyrgyz Republic to promote the content lines of the Global Environmental Conventions” (Soros Foundation).

The Psychology department is working well (USA) with the projects:

  1. "Assistance in improving the training system for social specialists through identifying and assessing the training needs of teachers and students / context for the training of psychologists",
  2. "Assisting in improving the training system for future employees of the EMS of the Kyrgyz Republic through identifying and assessing training needs".

Institute of requalification of pedagogical specialists are working with Germany on the project below.

Institute of foreign languages and computer linguistics is working with Austria and there is an Austrian Library Abroad in the institute.

Korean representatives provided technical support (computers) JOE - Korea - 2017 in the amount of 3.500.000 soms (41453 USD)

Many teachers, staff and students have completed  undergoing internships in abroad, successfully participating in international conferences, and in this regard, it should be noted the intensification of academic mobility both among students and the faculty members, for example, successful internships for students from China , Korea, USCO, Russia (MSLU, Belgorod University), universities of Bashkortostan, Kazakhstan.

During the year, active on-line meetings were held at the level of vice-rectors with the Karoli Eshterhazy University in Eger (Hungary) with the prospect of opening a center for the Hungarian language and culture (IML)

It should also be noted the stable number of 3,000 foreign students and 30 foreign undergraduates admitted in 2021, which is the result of the work of the administration and heads of structural divisions to attract students from the CIS countries and abroad. The largest number of foreign undergraduates study at the Faculty of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry.

8. 2013 I. Arabaev KSU in Barnaul (RF) joined the Association of Asian Universities - AAU, which included 76 universities from Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Thailand and Malaysia.

9. October 2011 in Kazakhstan, Astana  the rector of KSU named after I. Arabaeva prof. Abdyrakhmanov T.A. the Taraz Declaration was signed: Memorandum of higher educational institutions of the Eurasian space. The main idea of ​​the Memorandum is to unite the entire university community, the practical implementation of the principles of academic freedom, mobility, the unity of education and research, integration into the international educational space and improving the quality of higher education. Currently, this Memorandum has been signed by 72 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

10. September  2011 in Italy, city of Bologna  the rector of KSU named after I. Arabaeva prof. Abdyrakhmanov T.A. The European Great Charter for Universities was signed. KSU named after I. Arabaev became a participant of the Bologna process. The Magna Carta of the Universities is the basis of the Bologna Declaration.
