The history about  KSU named after I. Arabaev

Based on the resolution #. 825 of the Council of People's Commissars of the Kyrgyz SSR on December 15, 1944 and the order # 11 of the People's Commissariat of the Kyrgyz SSR on January 19, 1945, the Girls' Pedagogical School was opened in the city of Frunze. The purpose of the school was to prepare primary school teachers.

According to the Order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR # 14253/r (September 4, 1950) and the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR #. 811 of October 24, 1950, the Kyrgyz Women's Pedagogical School began 5-year training from October 25, 1950 was changed to the Kyrgyz Women's Teacher Institute.

According to the order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR #. 18552 on July 22, 1952 and the resolution # 805 of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR dated August 5, 1952, from September 1, 1952, the Kyrgyz Women's Pedagogical Institute was established on the basis of the Teachers' Institute.

Based on the Resolution # 625 of the Council of Ministers of the Kyrgyz SSR on July 8, 1953 "Celebrating the 60th anniversary of V. V. Mayakovsky", the Kyrgyz Pedagogical Institute for Women was named after V. V. Mayakovsky.

By the order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic # 211 of June 23, 1992, the educational institution changed to the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute named after V. V. Mayakovsky.

According to the resolution # 629 of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 24, 1992, the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute named after V. V. Mayakovsky named after the first educator and social-political activist Ishenaly Arabaev, and was renamed the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute named after Ishenaly Arabaev.

According to the resolution # 307 of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on May 11, 1994, the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute named after Ishenaly Arabaev  changed to the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University named after Ishenaly Arabaev.

Based on the resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic # 260 of June 27, 2005 and the order of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic # 160 of May 3, 2005, the educational institution was changed to the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev.

According to the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On awarding with state awards of the Kyrgyz Republic", on December 29, 2022, the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabayev awarded the Order of “Dank” of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2022, the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev awarded the international "Quality Choice Prize 2022" award by the Quality Research Society of the European Organization.

Since 2018, Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev has been a member of the Public Council of the Base Organization for the Training of Pedagogical Personnel of the CIS States and the main organization for the training of pedagogical personnel.

Today 

The Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev has the status of a legal entity and is a state higher educational institution that implements educational programs in the field of higher, post-higher, secondary professional and additional general professional education.

The university provides personnel training, retraining and qualification improvement for scientific and educational institutions, state bodies, enterprises and organizations of various fields of education and science in Kyrgyzstan, as well as near and far foreign countries.

The university is a creative community of professors, associate professors, teachers, postgraduate students, undergraduates and students who use domestic and international experience and carry out sufficiently high professional competence, based on scientific knowledge and pedagogical experience, taking into account the interests of all people involved in the pedagogical process.
