The State Language Department of the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev has been working in the direction of the development of the state language and improvement of the language policy at the university.

In one month (09.05.2022-10.03.2022) on the date of adoption of the State Language Law, a special work plan developed in all departments of the university, based on which various forms of cultural-social, intellectual activities, and scientific conferences were organized.

The competent writing of the signs in the university in the state language is monitoring.

Issues of keeping official documents in the state language in the departments of the university are regulating.

In November 2022, the State Language Department organized an essay writing contest among students.  On the 140th anniversary of Ishenaly Arabayev under the title "Ishenaly Arabayev - the first Kyrgyz educator", in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On National Values" "National Traditions and Values ​​- General context of human values" a scientific and journalistic article-writing contest announced. The results of the exams will be in February 2023.
