Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev is the flagship of domestic pedagogical education in our country with its modern material and technical base. There are more than 90 contracts with foreign partners. The educational process is carried out by highly qualified specialists in the field of bachelor's, master's, postgraduate studies, PhD. The teaching staff consists of 920 people, including academicians, corresponding members, 50 doctors of science and 262 candidates of science. 7 pedagogical fields at the university. There are 17  profiles (bachelor's, master's, secondary professional education) have been developed. Educational activities are carried out in the field of secondary professional, higher, additional and post-higher vocational education - 6 areas of PhD doctoral studies, 71 areas of higher professional education, 23 areas of secondary professional education, 28 areas of additional professional education.

According to the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On awarding with state awards of the Kyrgyz Republic", on December 29, 2022, the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev awarded with the “Dank” Order of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In 2022, the Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev  awarded the international "Quality Choice Prize 2022" award by the Quality Research Society of the European Organization.

Since 2018, Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabaev has been a member of the Public Council of the Base Organization for the Training of Pedagogical Personnel of the CIS States and the main organization for the training of pedagogical staff.
