Faculty of Art and Design

The Faculty of Art and Design of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev  founded in 1958. It organized as a music-pedagogical faculty within the Kyrgyz Pedagogical Institute named after. V.V Mayakovsky

Departments of "Music", "Art and design", "Technology of costumes and artistic skills of textiles" are working. Preparation of the following majors in full-time, distance departments on a budget and contract basis. They are Music education in the direction of artistic education; Art; Environmental Design; Training for artistic work; Art and design teacher; In the field of technological education: Technology and design; In the field of textile and costume art: costume design; In Design: Apparel Design and Graphic Design.
