Faculty of Physics and Mathematics
The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics first established in 1952 as a department of physics and mathematics within the Kyrgyz Pedagogical Institute named after V. V. Mayakovsky. The physics-mathematics department prepares teachers specializing in mathematics, physics, physics and fundamentals of production and sends them to work in all schools of our republic. The institute paid special attention to the material and technical base of the physics and mathematics department, and organized laboratories and classrooms for physics and computational mathematics.
Special attention paid to the scientific and methodical work of the staff from the day of the establishment of the physics and mathematics department. In addition to working in the physics and mathematics department, most of the teachers defended their candidate and doctor theses.
