The award ceremony for the winners of the “Den Sooluk” Spartakiad, held among teachers of higher and secondary vocational schools in Bishkek, was held. The award ceremony was held at the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn, and was attended by the director of the “Yashtyk” Directorate Urmat Asanbaev, the rector of the KU, Dogdurbek Chontoev, and the 4-time world champion in weightlifting Kanybek Osmonaliev, presented the winners with awards. According to the results of the “Den Sooluk” Spartakiad, the team of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev took the following places: in volleyball, the women’s team in the over-45 category took 2nd place, the women’s team in the under-45 category took 1st place; also, the men’s team in the over-45 category took 2nd place, and the men’s team in the under-45 category took 1st place. The women's team in the over-45 category in Toguz Korgool took 2nd place, and the women's team in the under-45 category took 3rd place. The women's team in the over-45 category in chess took 3rd place. The women's team in the over-45 category in table tennis took 3rd place. The men's team in the over-45 category in football took 2nd place. It should be noted that competitions in 7 sports were held within the framework of the "Den Sooluk" Spartakiad, in which a total of 650 people participated. According to the organizers, today's winners will have the right to participate in the republican Spartakiad to be held in Issyk-Kul in the summer.
