Professor Aigul Abdraeva, Rector of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, issued a greeting message on the occasion of State Language Day (September 23):

Dear compatriots, colleagues and students!

I sincerely congratulate you on State Language Day, September 23.

At KSU, we place great importance on the development of the state language and the improvement of language policy.

The state language is a key tool for education, scientific research, communication, playing an essential role in the economic, cultural and political growth of our country.

The epic of "Manas" teaches us to value our native tongue, promote its usage and ensure its widespread application across all fields – a critical task of our time.

In this rapidly globalizing era, preserving the purity of the Kyrgyz language, passing its rich heritage to new generations and delivering quality education are our top priorities.

Our ancient language has stood the test of time and will continue to be a treasure trove of national values for generations to come.
