Guest lecture by Professor from the University of Kentucky at KSU

At Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, Professor Alan Fryer from the University of Kentucky, USA, gave a guest lecture titled “Monitoring and Assessing the Ecological Status of Springs: How Do They Respond to Environmental Stresses?” The event was attended by KSU’s faculty and students. During the lecture, Professor Fryer explained the importance of systematic monitoring and assessment of the ecological status of springs and how they respond to environmental stresses such as pollution, changes in water flow and climatic conditions. He also provided information on methods for monitoring springs, analytical techniques and mechanisms of adaptation to ecological changes.
