An event was held at KSU on the occasion of the World Anti-STD Day

December 1 - an event was held on the occasion of World AIDS Day. As part of the event, Adalyat Myrzakulova, associate professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Kyrgyz National Medical Academy named after I. Ahunbaev, and Akbar Jumaev, a teacher of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology, gave a lecture entitled "Universities against HIV/AIDS". The event was organized by the Department of Youth and Socio-Cultural Affairs, and was attended by faculty members and students of KSU. During the event, detailed information was provided about the causes of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) and HIV infection, ways to prevent infectious diseases and the importance of fighting against these viruses. The said event is aimed at preventing viral diseases that are rapidly developing in the world, inviting students to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness.
