The third day of the seminar on English Language Teaching Policy in Central Asia took place at KSU
On June 5, at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, the third day of the seminar on English language teaching policy in Central Asia was held as part of the AELLCA (Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia) project implemented by the British Council. The event was attended by KSU’s Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Aigul Chaldanbaeva, representatives from the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic, guests from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and the faculty of the Institute of World Languages and International Relations named after Sh. Kadyrbaev. During the seminar, national strengths and international experiences in teacher training for English language teaching were discussed. Presentations were made emphasizing the need for a comprehensive approach to English language teaching, taking into account global educational trends and sustainable development goals.
