“Greater Altai” Cultural and Scientific Integration Event held at KSU
On October 9, a cultural and scientific event titled “Greater Altai”, organized in collaboration with Altai State University, was held at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev as part of its 80th anniversary celebration.
As part of the event, an exhibition titled "Altai Preserving Traditions" was organized by the Institute of History and Socio-Legal Education named after E. J. Maanaev in cooperation with Altai State University.
The exhibition’s ceremonial opening was led by the director of the Institute, Cholpon Koichumanova, who emphasized the similar customs, cultural and ethnographic features shared between the Kyrgyz and Altai peoples.
The event was also attended by the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Albert Zulkharneev, who congratulated the university on its anniversary and expressed confidence in the future strengthening of international cooperation.
Following the exhibition, a guest lecture was delivered by Ivan Nazarov, Doctor of History, Professor, Director of the Institute of History and International Relations at Altai State University. The lecture was attended by students, master's degree candidates and researchers.
The “Greater Altai” initiative aims to deepen bilateral scientific dialogue, promote academic exchange and support the implementation of joint initiatives.
