The KSU hosted an event called "Selection of journals for the publication of scientific articles"

The Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev hosted an event called “Selection of journals for the publication of scientific articles", which was conducted by coach Pavel Kolomiets.

The event was attended by Aigul Chaldanbayeva, Vice Rector for Science and Innovation at KSU, and the teaching staff.

The following issues were considered during the event:

- Search for journals in Scopus and Web of Science databases;

- Identification of fake magazines;

- Methods of assessing the reputation of journals;

- What role does the citation index play when choosing scientific publications?

Coach Pavel Kolomiets spoke in detail about the procedures for publishing scientific articles in Scopus and Web of Science journals, preparing articles in accordance with quartile requirements, how to avoid duplication of journals, as well as about the capabilities of Google Scholar.
