Today, December 19, a round table was held at the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev on the topic "Reforming higher pedagogical education in the context of the transformation of school education and the transition to a 12-year system of secondary general education in the Kyrgyz Republic."

The event was attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Rasul Abazbek uulu, President of the Kyrgyz Academy of Education Nazira Duysheeva, as well as representatives of higher educational institutions and experts in the field of education.

The main goal of the round table is to develop a roadmap to improve the quality of teacher training in the context of the transition to a 12-year education system and exchange views on reforming state educational standards.
