Delegation from Japan Visits KSU

On October 2, Aigul Abdraeva, Rector of I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University, met with Shigeru Tanaka, President of Meitetsu Group (Japan).
The meeting was also attended by Aibek Samarov, Director of KSU’s Institute of Japanese Studies, Yotsuhashi Michinori, Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in Japan, along with Takashi Ando, Yuki Sato, Yuji Fukuda, and Jamilya Asanbaeva from Meitetsu Group and Nagoya Railway Company.
During the meeting, they discussed the future of cooperation in education, science, and culture.
As part of the meeting, a special “Meitetsu Class” opening ceremony was held.
The newly launched Meitetsu Class is designed to train international-level professionals, focusing on foreign languages and modern technologies.
This initiative will strengthen educational and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, and help prepare highly qualified specialists.
