KSU Rector Meets with Delegation from Japan

On September 23, Professor Aigul Abdraeva, Rector of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev, held a meeting with a delegation from Japan to strengthen collaboration in education, healthcare and social services.

The Japanese delegation included:

Rei Miyamoto – Director General of "Global" Association

Shinji Takahashi – Director of "Shinji Dental Clinic"

Shinya Ishimoto – Director of "Moegi-no Kai" Social Welfare Corporation

Kenichiro Hino – Director of "Apollonia" Dental Clinic

Masakazu Matsubara – Director of "Nanairo" Dental Clinic

Michinori Yotsuhashi – Advisor to the Rector of KSU

Key areas of cooperation discussed:

Development of training programs in dentistry and oral hygiene

Joint educational and medical projects for KSU students

Advancing bilateral cooperation in social work and healthcare

Enhancing cultural and academic exchanges between Kyrgyzstan and Japan

Special attention was given to preventing dental diseases in children and adolescents, with a focus on training students in Social Work using Japanese best practices.

Professor Abdraeva emphasized that collaboration with Japanese professionals would open up new opportunities for both students and faculty, improve education quality and strengthen international ties.

The Japanese delegation expressed readiness to support KSU initiatives and proposed continued exchange of experience in the medical and social spheres.
