Students of KSU participated in the event "Reducing the risk of accidents".

Today, on October 9, students of the Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev took part in the event "Reducing the risk of accidents" held in the central old square. The event was held at the initiative of the Bishkek City Mayor's Office and is the result of a special month-long event announced by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as "October 5 - Disaster Risk Reduction Day". The main goal of the event is to summarize measures aimed at preventing accidents and reducing risks and to communicate their results to the public. During the event, practical exercises in various directions, information on safety rules, new technologies and techniques used in emergency situations were presented. About 50 students of KSU named after I. Arabaev took part in the event as volunteers, assisted the organizers and increased their knowledge on disaster preparedness. Also, they learned first aid techniques used in the event of an accident.
